DH got me a lovely new Nexus 10 for Christmas, so I'm looking for Apps for it.
I'd like some games really but anything else that might be useful around the house would be good.

Ooh what is clipboard? I have just worked out how to turn off the annoying click as I type!

I second Flipboard! and Mumsnet app of course. Pinterest, Pocket and Amazon Kindle are all on my new tablet :)

Can someone explain flipboard?

FiveHoursSleep · 27/12/2012 12:07

Flipboard presents like a magazine but the content is made up of the topics you choose. You can also include your FB, twitter and G+ feed.

Colornote (like post its for your screen), Go launcher to change your theme, turbo kids. I've found I'm using widgets more than apps. I have a page dedicated to fly lady, a page for weight loss, a page for social media.

TuneIn may be worthwhile, if you want internet radio from UK and abroad.

TuneIn Pro version allows you to record, (probably not much good for music).

May also be worth taking a look at SlideIt (an alternative keyboard) - I don't actually use it by sliding my fingers around (tend to disable predictive modes and just go for basic keyboard) but found this on suited me... but several to try out, to be honest. I think I have different 'skins' on every device (around 6) here.

WWWebcam - if you just want to have a look at random web cameras (and have a truly unlimited internet service, as it can download hundreds of MB if left running by mistake)

I also have (though don't use on a daily basis) - Ebay, HotUKdeals (.com) app.

I think I have one for Quidco too.

Fave apps....

google calendar. With out this we'd all be sunk!

Tune in pro

google drive (and folder sync to keep this up to date)

iplayer

audible

hot deals

Kind of outgrown games a bit but 100 floors is brilliant

Oh and kindle and beyond pod (podcast app)
