how to restore scratched wii disc

Just wondering if here is anyway of restoring a scratched Wii disc. Would be grateful of NY tips. Thankyou

The games shops (game station etc or even the supermarket if they have an entertainment section) have a machine that they can run the disc through to try and repair - it's worked quite a few times on DS's Xbox games - assuming it would be the same for wii games. Costs about £2 - they can't always guarantee disc will be fixed but it has worked on several of his discs.

my oh is a real game geek and he swears by going over them with a small dap of T-cut (the stuff for car scratches) seems to work pretty well.

I have used Tcut just thisweek to lesssen scratches on a computer disk.The other thing I have seen advised is toothpaste,the mild abrasive action helps to polish out the scratches,but have never tried this.

You can buy home kits for doing this too. Essentially how they work is that they 'burn' a very thin layer off the outside of the disc using chemicals and then polish what's left to remove the scratches. This is the same reason toothpaste may well work.
