iPad screen smashed

Is there anything I can do? Ds threw a toy car and it hit the edge if the iPad and its not shattered in the corner. It still comes on but the shattered glass is dangerous.
Can it be fixed?

Yes, it can if it's just the glass screen rather than the touch layer. A friend's child dropped one on the floor and shattered the glass and I think it cost under £100 (£80ish) to fix.

I think they had it fixed at Currys. I think a fair few places do it though.

They can be repaired often, though can cost £90 or so, could be less. Probably best to try to get a quote from a local store (phone repair stores may well be able to replace screen on ipad), or one of the repair companies that you send it away to if you don't mind sending it to someone.
