I have finally got a new iphone delivered having dropped and cracked my screen on my old one and now need to sync it. How do I do this?

I've backed up my old on on to the computer and plugged new one in. It's open on itunes but isn't doing anything. I'm scared to hit 'sync' incase it uses the new one as a 'default' (does it do this?)?

Very Confused and nervous to click anything incase I loose everything!

I'd sync your old one again then you should be asked when you plug the new one in if you want to use the back up.

Sorry I can't be more help, but sometimes just doing the exact same thing again will work!

Back up your old phone to iCloud. Then plug in your new one and sync from iCloud. Hey presto.

You need to look for 'Restore from Backup' - think you get it by right clicking on your iPhone's name on the left hand menu, then you should be able to choose the date of the backup, if there's more than one.

Yep it was the restore from back up option. All sorted now, just can't remember all of my passwords including my wifi and one of my emails!! Lol
