I have ordered an ipad (clasps hands with delight). Please can anyone recommend a case. I won't use it much out of the house but just want to protect it during use. Do I need an apple one or will one of the cheaper versions do?

I prefer the belkin ones. Get one with the grippy bit inside the cover that you prop the iPad on to make a triangle rather than the ones that fold into a little triangle at the back - if that makes any sense at all. They're more stable and better for one handed propping.

I have the apple one because I had a voucher! But several people recommended the Tesco finest ones.

I have also just got my ipad , still trying to keep it hidden from the dc , so I can enjoy it for a bitGrin

Have you got a screen protector , I haven't got one at the moment but think I probably should, not sure which type to get though.
