Need help with google play on the android

i have bought the Dds a basic android tablet. I have been loading some apps and it doesnt ask for a password like the apple store on my iPad does. How do I set up a password so they can't spend a fortune on apps. Thanks

From the store you can press menu and go to Settings and then Set or Change PIN

I would have suggested changing the Google account's password (to prevent download of all apps that had previously been bought, even if unsuitable for user). But it would get messy and probably cause plenty of error messages if it was done... PIN seems neater solution.
