Broke my iPAD2 screen....

...it is 2 years old but good condition. It was in a leather case but no screen protector otherwise. Any advise on cheap screen repair or alternative?

I took my DS's to our local mobile phone repair shop and they replaced it for £70 apple wanted £200.

Not sure about in the UK, but in the US mine got dropped and shattered, went to the Apple store, they quoted almost as much as buying a new one. But recommended an authorised repair outlet which fixed it for $85 plus postage, and because it was an authorised outlet it doesn't invalidate the warranty. Worth asking local Apple store.

I broke my iPad 1 screen last month, devastating, after many phone calls to lock apple retailer and apple store, I started digging online and found these guys sent it up special delivery on a Saturday morning and I had it back Tuesday with new screen. £99 plus delivery back to me. Great service, would recommend them.
