New ipad question...

I've got an ipad3, all set up, mail, apps etc. I've noticed a few dead pixels, and John Lewis have said to bring it back and exchange for a new one. Going to do this tomorrow. However, my question is, will I have to re-enter all my mail settings again or will they automatically transfer over to the new ipad if I pick the 'restore from existing ipad' option during set up? I've got 6 different accounts, mixture of work and home and they were a ball ache to find out the details for some of them. Does anybody know?

I hope they do replace it straightaway as I had to fight for 45 minutes for a replacement as mine wasn't charging, they wanted to send it away, it was a month old and I had checked with Apple and they had authorised it beforehand.

I just plugged the new one in to my Macbook and everything was there, magic!

No. Plug the ipad into iTunes and do a full backup.

When you get the new one, plug it in and tell iTunes to restore the backup. It's about as simple as it gets so long as you did the backup to begin with. Just make sure you have all the tabs selected so it does your photos, apps, music etc.
