Advice needed about a tablet for a 7 year old- Am I asking the impossible?

I desperately need some advice about tablets please.

I would like to buy my seven year old a tablet or something similar for christmas but have a top price limit of £100 :(
I know this is a really small amount for a tablet but he is seven and not very computer savvy but likes playing with the apps on my phone. I did look at the Leap pad 2 but think it may be a bit young for him maybe even though it is in the price range.

Basically I am asking what to do? ANY advice would be massively appreciated as I know NOTHING at all about these things (no, really I am seriously clueless!)

We've ordered one for DS1, who is 6, its this one, the reviews look good and it still supports flash which is all important to us so he can play games. I'll let you know when we get it
