Samsung galaxy tab 2 question

Can you open and edit word and pdf documents on this tablet? Does anyone have one? Whats it like?

There are apps you can download which will let you open and edit Word documents. Some free, some paid for. None will be very good to edit because tablets are awful input devices. I'd rather poke my own eyes with a fork than edit a long word document on any tablet.

You can download many PDF readers including Adobe's own Acrobat reader. Due to the nature of PDF's, I doubt you will be able to edit them.

The tablet is fine, good value for money. You may want to check out the Nexus too though.

I have actually note and take educational meeting notes in word form in polaris office the native document app.it's not bad. I tidy them up in the pc, but if I want taking notes full speed in a talk they would be not bad straight off.

Depends on data entry method I guess more than anything.using Swype on my nite and that's pretty good.you can use a blue tooth keyboard too, my apple one works fine and also likes to the kids 7 inch Samsung galaxy tabs that I got for xmas but that's a secret!
