Kindle fire - same charger as normal (older) kindle?

Hi, am getting DH a kindle fire for Christmas but reviews say it doesn't come with a wall charger. I have one of the older kindles and have a charger, will this work with it or do I need to buy a separate one?

They all use a standard micro USB cable. So yes, an old Kindle one will work, as will the majority of phone chargers these days (except iPhones as Apple insist on being incompatible with everything!). The reason they've stopped including chargers is that they figure everyone has them already and brings down the manufacturing cost per unit.
