Problems with iPhone after updating

I've updated the operating system on my iPhone 4

Firstly I did it before the v 6 came out and I
Immediately had problems with some sites and it being slow

I then updated to v6 as this came out a few days after I'd updated to v5.5 or whatever it was and I figured it couldn't be worse

Anyway I'm still having problems. It seems to be secure sites ie when I try to purchase things I get the 'safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding'

Has anyone else had this or got any ideas how I can fix it?

Only iPhone 3 here but DH said he'd risk updating to the next batch of software, despite known bugs. He figured Apple would sort soon.

Try their website - it's probably known about and they may have stuck updates there.

back up all your contacts to icloud and anything else that you would want to keep, then re-set your phone as NEW to completely wipe it of all settings and memeory.
