Which iPad accessories?

iPad 2, if that makes a difference.
I am thinking about a good protective cover, especially for the back, also I gather it's possible to buy stand+small keyboard combos.

What have you found useful?

ps: I am thinking of a good cover that can be used whilst hand-held, I gather smart-cover is good except it doesn't cover the back, dunno if Smart Cover+something else for the back would be best, for hand-held use?

You can now get the Smart Case, which covers front and back and fits both ipad2 and the new one - I have the red one on my new iPad, like it very much.

That's weird, I read that Smart cover didn't cover the back completely, so prone to scratches!
But thanks for info, Smart cover seems to be popular in every other way.

I have a keyboard combi but rarely use it. Saying that I would perhaps use it more but we have a laptop and netbook so I use them if doing more writing.

Definitely a screen cover - the Phone Devil (I think it is called) is brilliant. Don't get a cheap one, they are crap.

If you want to upload photos, the phone card connector is worth the money. You can upload direct from your SD card.

I have a Kensington keyboard case. I love it. Makes it much easier for typing, and folds out of the way if you just want to watch tv/movie etc. And completely encloses the iPad.

I've got a rotating cover that I bought from Amazon. It means that when it is on charge, like it is now, I don't have to drag the cable to the right hand side of the iPad. It, also, doubles up as a stand, and has a magnet in it, so when you close it the iPad goes to sleep!

I got this cover. It's plain and straight forward (but I do like the one with the keyboard of Portofino's). Having a separate keyboard will certainly save you cleaning the screen so often!

I haven't felt the need for any other accessories.

I have one of these and its great. Did have a keyboard one but found that the keyboard didn't work that great anyway and was quicker typing on the iPad.

The Smart Cover doesn't cover the back, but Apple have now brought out the Smart Case, which does
