How to remove SweetPacks Browser

Hi,

A piece of addware keeps popping up called Sweetpacks and I can't remove it. I went to the control panel, add/remove programs and removed it but it still comes up. I googled it and someone suggested (when on the internet) going to tools, add ons, toolbars and extensions and removing it there. It's not there though.

Thought I'd ask you wonderful MNetters for your advice,

Had a quick look but there doesnt seem to be any precise removing instructions,I would download the free version of malwarebytes and scan with that,make sure you update it after installation and before use,if it finds any nasties it will deal with them for you.

If Malwarebytes doesn't get rid of it try AdAware and Spybot Search & Destroy. One of them should clear it off for you.

Thanks so much guys, I used Malwarebytes last night, the scan took blumming ages and it ended up removing 118 suspicious things!

It would be a good idea to run a Malwarebytes scan weekly,glad your sorted.
