Nintendo Indiana jones please can any clever children help!?

Hi, bought second hand ds Indiana jones for ds. Can anyone tell me how to delete a saved game which is already on the cartridge?

I don't have it but have you read the instructions, normally you just select the file from the main menu rather then ingame and it asks, or you press x to delete instead of a to load etc, i had the game on box years ago do can't remember
