number one has more battery life... and would 'normally' cost £30 more than number two

All i 'need' is

• wifi
• sd card slot
• skype
• good for travelling
• within 100 pounds budget

any advice much appreciated

i have a great mobile so dont wanna spend loads

this is for travelling - using wifi / skype - basicallu, avoiding roaming charges & not having to lug 'huge laptop' around...

They both look rather avarage to low to me I doubt you will get any meaningful advice here most of them are Apple nuts, just google for reviews you can't trust the reviews on Argos they tell you to rewrite it if it contains too much criticism otherwise it doesn't get printed (well they told me to when I critiqued a childs bog seat because it doesn't actually sit under the adult one its too big to fit thru the hole like its spost to so you have to get some rubber pads to stick on it so it can sit ontop without slipping), wasn't allowed to say that apparently.

I personally wouldn't buy either. Budget tablets are usually really really rubbish.

They probably won't be able to access the Google Play store. Both those tablets have terrible screen resolutions so websites will look odd and you'll be scrolling around them.

Battery life on the second is dire and tolerable on the first. Bear in mind these are manufacturer's best, meaning you may just about squeeze out 6 hours when you first get it but a year later you'll probably be lucky to squeeze out 3.

Honestly I'd up the budget and either go for a Google Nexus 7 or a 2nd hand ipad 1.
