Useful shortcuts on Windows

I am having a brain freeze and can't remember what buttons to press to show me all my open windows.

Please help?

And please tell me other useful things?

e.g windows key bring up the start menu
windows key + d gives me my desktop
that kind of thing

All at the same time not alt-tab between them?

That was quicker than DP googling!

Alt-tab is probably what I want, because it shows me what I have, if I have forgotten about one.

If you're on Windows 7, you can use Windows key + TAB for another style of scrolling through open windows (and desktop).
