Is anyone going to Minecon 2012?

Minecraft convention , Minecon is at Disneyland, Paris in November. Is anyone taking their dc or just going for themselves ?

Yes I want to take my son to Minecon 2012 but am waiting to see how much it is (today hopefully). It is a long way from Devon for a weekend! And is it child friendly? Sprog is 12.

Yes it will be kid friendly judging by 2011 (I didn't go but have looked at stuff online). My son is 14

yes! have already booked that weekend in a disneyland hotel especially for the minecon and now see that there is a discount for tickets if booking for the minecon grrrrr!

But if minecon have booked one of the parks for their sole use, then how could they have sold me park hopper tickets? I get tickets with the room. May phone and complain

oh looks like it's just the evening that they booked just for minecon.
can imagine lots of bemused looks at teenage boys wandering about with home-made minecraft boxes on their heads.

my ds has a foam minecraft sword which no doubt will be packed. May well cause a commotion when they scan the cases.
