iPhone 4 photos delete after a year?

My friend has just said that photos more than a year old are deleted on the iPhone 4. Anyone know if this is true? I know the photo stream has limited days, deletes after 60 days I think, but the normal camera roll doesn't does it?

No it doesn't. I wasn't aware of the stream doing it either tbh

I think the photo stream does. But I'm sure I have photos on my cam roll that are over a year old but I have a 4s so not sure if thats different.

Nope. Absolutely not true. I've had mine 2 years.

I have a 4 and have photos from ages and ages ago. Years.

. I have an iPhone 4 if that makes a difference...

What's the photo stream? And how does it differ from the camera roll photos?

Thanks people, I thought not but couldn't think of a reason that he could suddenly loose photos off the camera roll.
The photo stream are the photos that are saved to the iCloud.
