Does anyone have one? Is it good? How does it compare to the Ipad?

My dad has one. I'm most jealous. I'm quite firmly in the get that evil Apple stuff away from me camp so might not be the best person for a comparison :o but as far as Android tablets go it really doesn't get much better than the Galaxy line. It's fast, it's versatile, it's userfriendly, and it's gorgeous.

We have one. It's just a gadget, like an ipad is. I can't find myself getting excited about it tbh.

What do you wish to know?

Basically if it's as good as the IPad - I have a samsung phone and so don't really want to get an Ipad as I'd rather stick to Android so they're compatible but just wondered if there is much difference in performnace/versatility between the two

Well, you'll already be familiar with the android market, which helps.
Battery life is good, though of course that depends what you're using it for. Browsing, it will last for hours, games, less longer (like your phone really).
