Help no mobile signal (Paris)

So until now my phone has been working fine but suddenly I have no signal - I am with 3. Browsing on line I can't see any general issue... I can't seem to contact 3.

In the UK Three prefers to use 3G network for voice and data but if you get a poor / no 3G signal can use 2G and voice switches to partner network (Orange) to work.

Saw comments a little while back that Three was reducing areas where it used Orange, to annoyance of people unable to do anything if Three 3G signals were problematic.

From your query, sounds like data OK but maybe no agreement for 2G data/voice with network(s) serving location you are in.

You might find Skype would work...
