Thinking about getting a kindle but ...

have heard the rumours about the mini ipad. From what I can see there are only rumours at the moments with nothing official from apple.

So, on one hand I am thinking I will just wait - I don't need a kindle now ...

but then I thought maybe, as I want a kindle to primarily read books on, I should just do it ... an ipad will have a diferent resolution screen which will be like trying to read a laptop in the sun.

Which is right please?

Hi I have both, I prefer the iPad with kindle app. The screen is bigger and easier to read.

I like my Kindle. I wouldn't want to read from a back-lit, glossy screen. Personal preference I guess.

Kindle fire might be an option. Have both and both have their uses (iPad and kindle)

Buy a cheap kindle now, then in s year get whatever tablet

Reading on a kindle is loads better than a twatty iPad
