Blackberry error 507

ok...fell in a lake and my work blackberry was waterlogged. When I retreived it it was showing 'error 507 reload software'
Before I report it to the work geeks, who take forever to fix anything - has anyne had this and found ti a simple thing to fix..........?

Have you done a battery pull? Taking the battery out while the blackberry is on, or can't you turn it on at all?
