Hi,

I need to design a flier (A5 size), and have found a company who will print them cheaply, but I need to email them a .pdf file containing my design.

What program would be best to do this? Powerpoint? How can you select A5 size?

I have no idea! Confused

Any help/advice would be very gratefully received.

Thanks.

I think you can turn any word document into a pdf, have you got publisher?

Do it in Word, if that's what you're used to - then under Save As, there's a "File type" drop down thing - PDF should be in there.

Brilliant, I'll try that.

Thank you!

(Don't think I've got Publisher, no).

Thanks both.

The Save to PDF ferature was only added in Word 2007, so you may want to check which one you're got.

Design it in whatever package you feel most comfortable using and if you happen to find that you don't have "save as .pdf" option in that package, you can download and install CutePDF writer from www.cutepdf.com/ and then CutePDF will appear as a printer. Once you select "print to" cutepdf, it will prompt you for the filename and then you can save your design in the PDF file format.
