Can anyone recommend me a new mobile phone?

I'm on PAYG at the moment and have worked out I spend well over £10 a month, so any monthly contract for £10 or less would be great.

I've been into Phones4U and Carphone Warehouse and found them both pretty unhelpful, and when I looked online the phones they recommended had poor reviews. I don't know where to start!

Has anyone got a cheap monthly contract with a decent phone they can recommend?

I was on teh £10.50 per month with t-mobile until recently. I got 100 mins, unlimited texts for that. My phone was okay too .

I have recently upgraded ad pay a little more now -but I have a nicer phone - HTCWildfire S. I am still getting used to it.

OOh I was recommended the Wildfire in Carphone Warehouse and it looked nice, but when I looked at reviews lots were not so good - poor memory, crashes etc.

Do you have any problems with it? Would you recommend it?

no, no problems so far.

Which model did you read the reviews on ? There is more than one Wildfire. Mine is the S. Only had it two months or so - but so far, so good. I have bought a bigger memory card for it whcih may help I guess.

It was the S, so maybe it is your memory card which makes it better. Thanks for the advice.

dont get the htc desire - lack of phone memory, micro sd card stops working, freezes, etc. Unfortunately I am stuck with it till next year

I was the same as you and got a samsung ace for 10 a month, from O2, I pay another 3 for data. It is a great phone

£10 a month including a decent smartphone is a pretty tall ask.

Have you considered moving to GiffGaff instead and keeping your current phone?

For £10 a month you will get 250 mins, unlimited text & unlimited Internet which is a pretty sweet deal.

My current phone is on its last legs niceguy2, am sick of it freezing/shutting down etc. So definitely want a new phone.

Will have a look at the samsung ace, thank you Caerlaverock.

The Samsung is amazing for the price but not suitable for gaming. I just use for face book gps when lost that sort of thing. I do have to clear out texts regularly as well. Also no flash so you can't watch iplayer but netflex and you tube are great on it. The camera is good too.

here is my deal you can bolt on data and stuff if you need on a monthlynbasis which I like
