My iPads battery is terrible!

I've been sat with it on. Charge now for at least 30 mins and it's only gone up by 3%

When it's not on charge it runs out so fast and I'm hardly doing anything. I only have safari and Facebook app open, nothing else.

Help!

Which ipad is it? The new ipad is a bugger to charge as the battery is so big.

Are you using the original charger?

Try leaving it overnight to charge to 100%. If that doesn't work and it's still not lasting then it's time to take it to the Apple store where they can plug it in and diagnose a battery fault.

I charge mine up overnight

It takes ages. 7 and a half minutes for 1%!! Do it overnight

Mine takes overnight to charge but then lasts really well, so I don't have to charge it often.

I charge mine up every night, it's currently down to 31%, but has been used a lot today, somedays it only drops to 50%.
