Anything to get DS-12 away from shoot 'em up games:

It looks like it costs £17 to buy the game (PC). Is there some kind of "joining" fee, as well? Or extras, like goodie gift bags & gizmos to buy? Is the £17 a once and forever one-off payment?

Are the graphics as bad in the real version as they are in the demo version?

DS8 would like to play, too. Do I need to buy a separate installation for him, or can each boy have his own Minecraft world using their separate logins on the same PC (running Windows 7)?

TIA.

Just consulted my two DS's & in answer to your questions:
Only one off joining fee (I have never been asked for extras to buy etc)
The graphics are supposed to be like that (I thought exactly the same as you)
Your two DSs can play on the same installation - you are just asked which 'world' you wish to login into.
I was reluctant to pay for this game at first, but it seems quite addictive & innocent - no bloody violence as in some games.
Hopes this helps.

My two love this game, it can be played lots of different ways. You do have to be careful if they are going to go play on external servers though as it's like playing any other online gaming, there could be more adult language and it is possible to play it in a 'player Vs player' way with combat.

We haven't been begged to pay for anything than the game itself.

It takes up far too much damned time, but seems OK. He plays on one server with some of his school friends, and one server belonging to another RL friend who we know has only invited people he really knows.

He keeps pretending to be a creeper...

Just the one off price to buy it. It is good fun.
