Smart tv box - love film/Netflix/iTunes

I have invested in a smart tv box and am reasonably pleased with the love film and iplayer apps Although I don't think the choice on love film is that great. Can anyone complare with Netflix? Also should I be able to use iTunes to down load films and tv series on the the smart box? I do this onto my iPad at the moment. Could I connect the iPad to the smartbox and play things on the television through the box? It does have a USB port but nothing much happens when I connect them together. It is a Samsung box if that makes any difference.

Can you be more specific about what the box is?

For example, is it a Samsung STB-E7500 3D Dual Core Smart Hub, or something like that. Find the product code on the box (may be on the back or bottom of it).

I suspect that the device will support some types of streaming via DLNA. You will need an app on the IPad to stream to the media server. Try using SiteCom iMedia Control. It may take some experimentation to find an DLNA app which will stream what you want from the iPad to the Samsung.
