I have come across a load of my old CD's I dont have on my itunes so am currently copying them onto itunes. However there are a couple of songs that are coming up as being on a different album. They were featuring people so itunes was thinking that it was by a different artist. I took out the featuring name in the details, but the song is still classed as being on a different album even though the name and all other details are the same. Is there a way I can move it so they will appear to be on the same album? Ive tried dragging it, but that hasn't worked.

if you highlight all of the songs from one album, right click, and go to something like change details. you can then type in the name of the album appropritate to all of those songs!

This is an Itunes help query but different from the above! I have a large itunes library on my old desktop pc & want to transfer this to my laptop. Can this be done? If yes then how?

Thanks becca will try that out later.

ready not that I've found. If you plug the ipod in to your laptop all the songs you have downloaded should stay and be transfered to the new itunes, but you will have to put all the CD's back on (took me a week to do it last time). If there is Id like to know though as Im hoping to get a new laptop at some point.

Your music should all be on your hard drive, and you can transfer it the same way you transfer your documents -this link shows various ways to do it I used the external hard drive method. It took a while, but it's much easier because once you've started each step you can go away and leave it, you don't have to keep inserting and removing CD's.
