Been looking at a pc game I used to love when I was 17 younger Blush - it is not in production now and its (old) packaging says windows 95, 98, XP and ME. Is there a way of getting it to work on windows 7?

TIA :)

You could possibly run it in compatibility mode, if you right click on the application and go to properties there should be an drop down menu under compatibility. If you select Windows XP and tick the check box it should work.

What game is it?

sheep Blush

On that one it only says me/95/98, but on other descriptions I've found it says xp as well.

That looks quite good actually!

Compatibility mode also has settings for me/95/98 I believe, so you could always try those as well. Though I believe it gets less reliable the further back you go.

I need to find out whether one of my old games will play in compatibility mode, I'll be gutted if it's no longer playable.

Thanks I'll give it a go then - I've found one for £1.99 so worth a shot!
