Uploading videos to facebook?

Having problems with this. The file is not too long or big (about 2 mins long and only 194MB long.) It is taking hours to upload and when it claims to be finished it is just not there?

I have tried three times and it won't appear.

Can anyone help?

Videos can take some time to upload and appear. Does it have any music in it? Facebook also removes the music from any video with copyrighted music.

I'd suggest uploading it to YouTube instead then linking it. YouTube is much better at it.

194MB isn't that big a file but it is quite a big file for a 2 minute video. I suspect that FB is objecting to the file size.

There are software out there that shrinks videos so that they fit on phones and portable gadgets like the Apple Touch.

Why not try shrinking the video? You can download free trial apps which is ok if you are after a one-off conversion. Others are free sans expiry period but you can only convert 5 minutes of video which is still OK for your purpose.

Or simply lower the resolution setting on your camera when you intend to post the video on fb afterwards.

Thanks- after the fourth time it uploaded but I will try some of the suggestions here for next time.
