I have mcaffee 2010. Can I use it?

It is brand new and never been opened, will it work?

I am assuming it is just not the newset version and work just fine I just need it confirmed.

Yes it will be fine. Just make sure you regularly update the virus definitions.

How do I do that?

I don't have McAffee but it will probably be one of the menu options on the main menu.
Usually when you stall an antivirus it'll ask you if you want to update automatically or manually. Just select automatic updates and it'll download and install the new files when they're released.
