Can we stop DD's phone going on the internet accidentally?

She has an LG-S310 when you press the top right button it tries to go on-line (does this use some credit even if it's cancelled quickly?)

Can we disable this button?

yes you should have something in settings.

i am not familiar with LG phones, but on my nokia I have to into settings, then something like "connection manager" and then you can switch it to "always off" or "always ask" or "WLAN only" etc etc

Hmm I'll have a look; I didn't 'see' anything earlier

hmm found the manual online but it's not very helpful is it

ok have found several reviews saying the same thing, and people not being able to find a way to fix it unfortunately.
I wondered if you could re-program the shortcut, but apparently you can't.

would also appear that this is only an issue on ones bought from tesco???
