Can U help a Sky tv newbie?!

Just got it yesterday. All was well but fear one of my DCs must have touched a button on the remote or something, because I can no longer get it to change channel ... I can get the main sky menu, and browse through all the listings. But when I hit select to change to the channel I want, nothing happens! Any ideas, anyone?

I would ring Sky and get them to help you.

Are you trying to do it on a time before or after now (possibly on a different day)? Is it asking you if you want to record it?

Have you pressed the sky button on the remote to ensure itll work for sky? (Difficult to explain what I mean, but if they've accidentally pressed the TV button on the remote, then it won't change sky channels, instead changing the TV channels as if you're not watching it through the sky box - that any clearer??)

I had this and yes I needed to press the sky button on the remote.

If I have trouble I sometimes switch it all off at the wall
Leave it for a bit and then turn it all back on.
