Download speed 1Mb/sec is slow isn't it?

Just trying to download Madness on Wheels: Rallyings Craziest Years off iPlayer for DH and this is the best it can do. Its going to take more time to download than if he just watched the damn thing.

1 Mbps may take a while, but once downloaded it can be watched several times.

If that is the maximum speed for your connection, then it may not have worked properly trying to watch it online (assuming it was missed and that's why you are downloading).

Some time back 500 kbps was the standard speed. If you want to check your speed then I would recommend a visit to *> SpeedTest.Net

Also, according to the BBC web site, it won't be broadcast again in the (near) future, so downloading is probably your only option anyway...
