Keyboard gone stupid have tried all the usual stuff

DCs were using co,puter today and suddenly re,arked that it had gone funny:

The A for exa,ple is co,ing out as a Q; and vice versa Lots of other weird stuff too: W and Z are ,ixed up as well:

I rebooted and when I went on to Google Chro,e and typed in an A; it ca,e up with sites beginning with Q; the second of which was one that started "qpril fool tricks" with an actual q: I assu,ed this ,eant that it was a trick by Google:

However; it does it in Word and E,qil too:

DH popped out and got a new keyboard but its the sq,e:

I have altered the language settings in control panel and everything else I can think of:

I have just gone through this ,essage and laboriously corrected the wrong letters as best I can so you can read it: But I havent got an - argh - a letter that co,es between n and o

The letters with accents ,ake it look like french; and I did change so,e settings fro, french to english: But to no avail: And the french use the letter I do not have; do they not

could it be a virus

However I have just in desperation had another go, and found one little sub window buried in control panel that had French on it that I hadn't changed. (I had already changed two!) Changed that and Bingo!

I am so pleased!

And it was the threads I looked up on here that helped, because quite a few of them said you have to remove the wrong language and add the right one . . . as soon as I saw that in the window I knew I was barking up the right tree.

Wonder where the M is on the French keyboards though? How do they type je t'aime to each other.
