Hi there I am hoping somebody may be able to help me please. I was using my ipad as normal yesterday when suddenly a message popped up saying tha safari has lost me connection. My battery was low so I thought that was the problem. However I have now charged it and I am still having the same problem. I haveturned the router on and off and I have checked my settings on the ipad. Is comes up that wifi is on, there is a tick next to our network address. It does say choose a Network and there is a little circle going round but i am not sure what to do. The laptop is working fine so it cant be the router

Thank you for anybody who can help x

Try this:

Turn the router off. Turn iPad off. Wait a minute. Turn router back on and let it warm up. Turn iPad back on.

Trouble pairing apparently - worked here Smile

Hi, mine does this periodically and it bugs the hell out of me. I go to the general settings, switch off connect to known networks and switch on again. Sometimes that clears it. If that doesn't work, and I know this sounds bizarre go back to the internet page you were trying to connect to and attempt to connect it, when you get the no connection message, ok and then ask it again and keep doing it, mine eventually seems to work out that I want to connect to the internet and asks me for my router password. Sometime I have to do this 20 times before it works. Mine is the steam driven Ipad1 so might not work on other models. Failing that go and search the macforums, I've found out lotsof useful info there, if it's a problem someone else will have had it too so there will be a thread!

Mine does that sometimes too. Try resetting the ipad, it won't wipe any of your settings but that has worked for me in the past. Go into general settings, down the bottom is the reset.

Mine keeps doing that too. It drives me mad. It seems to work again if you go onto other sites and then back to your original site. I have no idea why.

Mine goes through phases of doing this too...v v v annoying but a common problem from what I have googled. Haven't really found a solution other than to leave it alone for a while or keep connecting/disconnecting until I am thoroughly p*ssed off Grin
