Facebook privacy question

I just put some pictures on FB, and set the album so only friends could see them. I tagged a friend in one, and one of her friends has commented.

It's not too much of a big deal, but I'd assumed that friends only seeing them didn't include friends of friends. Is there a way to change this?

Do the rules change because you tagged a fruend?

Does her privacy settings then prevail, iyswim?

Lately on facebook, I've noticed that there is the potential for friends of friends to do this. It is not ideal. I'm not sure how to change it though, sorry.

Just gone on the 'learn more' page and it says friends does include friends of anyone you tag.

I can customise who sees what, so hopefully I can figure it out :)

Yes, if you tag a friend then their friends can see everything else in that album. I don't tag anyone because of this but I think it's still possible to just type their name without it making a tag.

No they can't see the whole album they can only see the photos that their friend is tagged in.

I must have dozy friends of friends then as I've been able to see the rest of the album without friend in photo.
