Would you buy an Ipod on ebay? (and which one!)

Just that really. And would it suit me and which one? Grin

I have totally missed MP3s full stop so far. I bought a phillips one and the software was a nightmare. Even someone who is good at things like that found it awful. And now I've lost it, so I thought I might just go for an ipod as everyone seems to think they're easy.

I would want a screen so that it would be easy to find stuff and a fair bit of space. Beyond that I'm not fussed.

I don't have much money though, so would it suit me? Which one? Would you buy from ebay?

Yes:)
I have bought 6 ipods on ebay now (not all at once!) as I have four teens . They have all lasted fine..in fact better than the one ipod I bought direct from Apple, new! I have only had to replace due to loss/breakages (DS1 has skated over two of his..grrr)

I have bought refurbished ones from sellers with 100% feedback each time, and so far, no problems. I wouldn't get the smallest one (shuffle) but anything else is good:)

No. I bought one on eBay. It died after a month. Sad

I have bought an IPod Touch. DS had one and it got wet and died. I bought a better version on Ebay to replace it.

I would check the feedback and make contact with the seller via Ebay. I also asked that they send the item with tracking (I paid more for this posting option) so that I could make sure I could trace it/claim if it got lost in transit.

Must say I was worried but the whole thing went really well.

Bought an iPod touch for dh's christmas present. i went for an old model, one that still had a lot of packaging in the advert, and for which a lot of other people were bidding. No problems.

Oh I do ook forward to having teenagers. My two are still preschoolers and just tend to chuck things in the bath.

I just sold an Ipod nano on ebay

fragglerocker · 21/03/2012 17:16

I got my iPod classic off ebay a year ago, it still works fine. Huge memory and big screen. Really easy to use, even OH can operate it and he is rubbish with things like that! Bought OH the same one as mine off ebay too.

fragglerocker · 21/03/2012 17:37

I paid about £50 for ours (each) 30gb.

latrucha · 21/03/2012 18:03

Sounds positive all round.

Is 30g enough fragglerocker?

30gb is easily enough for me. I've got about 2500 songs on mine, a few videos and photos and I've got about 12gb free. When i got mine it was just the iPod, I had to buy a lead to charge it/put music on but the leads are only about £2 on ebay anyway. I couldn't be without my iPod and OH says it's the best thing we've ever bought off ebay!

Thanks Smile
