Anyone good at WordPress?

I have a WordPress blog in the Magazine Basic theme. I want to change the header picture on the homepage but can't seem to get rid of the old one, let alone upload a new one! I've gone into the Media library and selected "Delete Permanently" against the image, and it's gone from the file but although it seemed to disappear briefly from the homepage (little cross in the corner), it popped right back again! Any ideas?

Would normally do this through the Dashboard. Try going to Themes, select Header and then insert your new image. hope that helps, if not - loads of help and support on the Wordpress forums.
