Fairly fast download, very slow upload, is that normal???

I just did a speed test, download was 11.57 (always used to be under 6 so something's improved!) but upload only 0.36

I'm sure upload used to be 2-3

any ideas?

My download is 2.67mb/s so I'm quite jealous of your 11.57. As for upload that is comparable i.e. 0.351 mb/s

Your download speed is about 4-5 times faster than mine but the upload is the same. Strange.

I'd do a couple more tests and use a couple of different sites to get an average.

To be fair upload speeds are always going to be a fraction of what you download. Which provider are you with?

0.36Mbps does seem on the low side but much depends on what time of day it is, who your ISP is, what else was happening on your circuit and also your ISP's. hence why you need to get a few measurements

I did do a couple of others earlier today, niceguy - one came up with 0.7 download

otherwise downloads 9-11, uploads 0.36/7

just tried again now & got 11.77 & 0.36
