Help have disabled iphone

Befuddled and jet lagged brain has let me down... have typed passcode in wrong and disabled iphone - any ideas how i can re-able it??

you need to call the customer services dept of your phone network provider.

Mine normally rights itself after five minutes. What does it say on the screen?

You just wait five minutes and it comes back on again.

It should say try again in so many minutes if not plug into iTunes and restore

screen says iphone is disabled connect to itunes. BUT when do device is not recognised. have nowhere to pu in passcode

You need to restore it on iTunes then plug it in click on the device name on left then restore

Try resetting. Press home and power button at the same time and hold until the apple icon appears.

Have tried to connect to itunes but it keeps saying I need to put passcode in on phone but phone is disabled so can't type in code... Have tried the home/power thing too. think am resigned to having to brave queues at apple store...
