vanished hotmail account

it's linked to my main account (which still exists) but the other has gone! mainly used for twitter and i can't long on to that as it won't have password, and have noticed spam sent from my twitter account

argh !

hotmail 'poof' unused accounts.

explain slowly why you can't use twitter?

oh do you mean someone has hijacked your hotmail account?

i don't know what happened but i managed to change the password on the other account, thought it had gone as it was linked to my main hotmail but doesn't seem to be now :S

sorry to waffle and thanks for answering anyway! did have spam on my twitter which was a bit weird though
