iTunes - can you download again?

Hi - I need some geeky help please!!!
My iMac recently died - and I have replaced it with a MacBookPro - all good so far.

However all my music was in itunes (some from cd's, others purchased from ituens). CD's are mostly now in storage somewhere I know not where.

I thought I would be able to re-load my itunes purchases onto my new computer but it says I can only do this is USA. Is this true? So I'd have to buy everything again? Or am I missing something?

In iTunes, I have a link which says 'Purchased', and when I click on it, it takes me to all the previous purchases, and looks as if it will let me download again (am in the UK) - do you have this? It is in the left hand menu, in the 'Store' section.

I've found the Purchased cheers - will take another look this evening when I am at home
