Can you lock individual films on an ipad or Macbook?

I've now got quite a large library of films on my itunes which are all synced with the ipad as well. Some of these are things that are 15 rated or too violent for my DDs to watch. Is there anyway I can password protect these films so that they can't watch them unless the code's been put in?

There's a section in Settings on the iPad called Restrictions, where you can set a password and restrict movie content, but I've never actually tried it, as my DC are both adults.

I tried that but you can only restrict what gets loaded on by rating, not what can be watched once it is on and as we all share the thing then unless I only load U & PG films on then the children can't be trusted to use it independently.
