I have an iPhone 4 and have just upgraded to the iOS version .
When I get a text message , a little alert briefly flashes onto the top of the screen then it disappears and it goes back to the screen/app I was on .
If I am not looking at my phone or if I don't hear the alert then I wouldn't know I had a text until I go into the text part of the phone to actually check iyswim.
Before if I didn't open the text it would just stay on the screen until I either viewed or closed it.
I need to keep check of my texts as I work for an agency and will miss jobs if i don't see them . Is there any way I can make the text alert stay on the screen?
