PLease help no idea what I'm doing here

I have Itunes on my PC and 2DCs have iPod touches. I need to get DCs' music on their Ipods without getting Beyonce on DS's and War of the Worlds on DD's. Or my crusty stuff on either of theirs! Can I do it without having to go through and tick on untick all the boxes? it'll take forever.

New to all this - do they need independent iTunes accounts? If so, can I open them without credit card info, (they're too young) - maybe just iTunes voucher credits? If we can do separate accounts for them can we share music?

Sorry so dim whitted about it all....

We found the easiest way was to set everyone up as different users on the computer then when you open iTunes on that particular user's screen, it only comes up with whatever you need on that particular iPod. You can still use the main account details for paying etc. Does that make sense?

Yes it does, so you have to log in as 'them' to get their music synched? And you need to log in and out as a differtent one each time?

Next dim question...do all PCs have that facility (different people's user logins?) I've not seen it on mine - though not yet investigated that, it's fairly new...

They should have. Search "create new account" and it'll direct you to the right place. I think it's in the control panel.

Brilliant, accounts created on my PC for DCs, thanks to Scooter.

New help needed please: I'm trying to get some of the CDs I've uploaded to my iTunes to DC's iPod when I log on as her on my PC, but doesn't look like I can. Do I have to reload every CD when I'm logged in as DD, or can I drag them over?

When i plug in DD's iPod, and I'm logged in on my PC as her, there's only two options: either to erase all her stuff and synch to what's on her iTunes, or to transfer tunes on her iPod bought from the store, .... but not to copy over CDs loaded on.

Is this where iTunes have you by the proverbials? Do I have to load any CDs we both want all over again?
