You can only hide apps which are built into the phone from Apple. Ie. Safari...YouTube.

You can't hide apps you've installed.

Since your DH installed it onto your phone, why don't you just delete it?

I am sure there is a hidden folder app. Not sure how it works though.

I don't mind having it nice guy I just don't want children to use it plus he spent good money on it

How old are your DC? This will probably only wok if they are pretty young. If they don't know how to search for an app, you could put it on the last screen (with several blank ones in between) To do this, you need to drag one app (any one, it doesn't matter) to the edge of the last screen, which will create a new screen. Then get another app and drag it two screens and so on till you get to the last screen. Put the app you want to hide on the last screen. then drag all the other apps in between back to their proper place and the blank screens will stay there. (You can't just drag the app you want to hide all the way over, as it won't move if it's leaving a blank screenbehind)

To find the app, your DH will either have to flick right through all the screens, or search for it (which is why it won't work if your DC know how to search) Also they may find it anyway if they start idly flicking through the screens especially if they notice the extra dots at the bottom of the home screen. And I'm not sure if it will stay there when you sync, you may have to do it again...
