How can I download a video from YouTube?

I have seen a video on YouTube I would like to use for a group I am teaching but I can't see how to download it. I won't have internet access where I am teaching so need it on my hard drive.

I have looked on Google and found lots of programs to use but can anyone recommend one? I don't want to end up with viruses or spam!

I used saveyoutube when i needed a video. I've had no viruses or anything. Just write 'save' in front of the URL in the address bar and hit enter. For example: saveyoutube.com/watch?v=dXP2GdqYCOM . Hope this helps.
