Blackberry Curve battery life

I bought a new BB Curve 9300 a month ago. The battery life seemed fine to start with but over the past week it feels like I've been charging it every day, eg, I charged the battery yesterday evening at 8pm and checked battery power was 100% full before disconnecting it. Since then, I've made one 11 min phone call, checked my FB a/c & couple of e-mails and have just checked the battery and it's now down to 3%.....and so on charge once again .

I'm not running any applications on the phone, bluetooth is switched off, I've disconnected from my home wifi incase that was using up the battery. Surely this can't be normal, I'd expect at least 2 or 3 days between charging when I'm not using the phone very much.

Anyway, just thought I'd sound out here (incase I'm doing something stupid :) before I go back to the retailer to complain.

Yup. That's the problem. I have the same problem - plus the bloody charger only working if the handset it on its side. I took it back to the store and it seems to be the norm. Apparently, all the new gidgets and doodahs sook up the power like mad. I am charging every day if I use the browser, every two to three of not.
